Only 3 weeks till the Billings Cyclocross Weekend! Cross season is well underway, and these races have their work cut out for them if they want to measure up to all the other great races I've been to over the last 3 weeks. This weekend it is off to one of the best races of the year, Rolling Thunder, in Missoula, MT. Great race, huge turnout, and great city. And it looks like the temperature is finally starting to drop a bit, although this weekend is still going to be a far cry from some of the extreme weather we had for the early season of racing last year.
After Rolling Thunder, there are two races up in Kalispell, then a fun Halloween weekend race in Bozeman, and then it's Billings' turn to host the races.
I've had a few friends come out to the courses and got a lot of positive feedback. The days are going to be very different from one another. And if it snows/rains all bets are off. Make sure you save November 6th and 7th to come check it out!
